Modern Sole is a mother-daughter owned shoe boutique with locations in Sherwood Park, Saskatoon and most recently Windermere, Edmonton. In celebration of their new location in Windermere, we curated a targeted guest list of fashion bloggers, style writers and shoe lovers to attend an opening launch party. We also coordinated a Modern Sole feature with blogger Kira of Northern Style Exposure who has more than 40,000 engaged social media followers.
In August 2015, Edmonton’s favourite high kicking burlesque troupe shimmied and shook on stage at The Citadel Theatre, presenting their Elvis tribute show, We Have Your King. We helped promote the show with 10 media placements targeted at Edmontonians including spots on CJSR Radio, Global Morning, CTV Morning, Dinner Television, Shaw TV, Vue Weekly and more.
gravitypope celebrated its 25th anniversary in fall 2015 as one of Canada’s most iconic shoe stores. Publicity Room helped celebrate this milestone across the country with 15 media placements including FASHION Magazine, Breakfast Television Calgary, The Edmonton Journal, Calgary Herald and Avenue Magazine Calgary.

Etsy.com is an online marketplace for handmade and vintage merchandise with thousands of Canadian designers and makers selling unique items. We curated and hosted a segment on CTV Morning Live showcasing creative items from B.C. and Alberta-based sellers.
We’ve partnered with Calgary jewelry designer Kate Hewko on a series of events aimed to introduce her collections to the Edmonton market. We curated a targeted guest list of stylists, media, buyers, bloggers and influencers to preview her collections at two really fun evening events with food, cocktails and shopping.
PARK is a Calgary based non-profit that mentors and supports Alberta’s emerging fashion designers. We worked closely with the organization on its Edmonton launch event, PARKSHOW Edmonton, assisting with media representation and assistance.
Bringing together two brands with major influence, we coordinated a creative partnership between Canadian retail icon, Simons, and bespoke footwear brand, Poppy Barley. The result was a month-long Poppy Barley pop-up inside Simons’ West Edmonton Mall location. The collaboration helped Simons connect and show support for a local fashion startup with a well established and loyal local following while providing lucrative exposure and sales opportunity for Poppy Barley.
Keeping Simons top of mind over the summer, we coordinated, styled and hosted a light-hearted swimsuit segment on behalf of the brand showcasing its best beach buys.
